Homeward bound in the Norfolk sunset

I was attracted to paint this scene by how the low sun cast its rays over the sea. The silhouette of the fisherman, in his small dinghy, gently heading back home creating a feeling of peace and solitude. As you can see, it is a fairly simple, uncomplicated painting. It lacks any firm detailing and really is all about the feeling it attempts to portray. I think it is a painting that separates viewers, you love it or you hate it, there is just no in between.
